RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It’s a XML format created to syndicate news, and be a means to share content on the web. It automatically updates other sites or subscribers that you are updating your site or you have published content. It can be offered via email or reader like Google or Yahoo.
RSS as Live bookmarks
It can also be promoted via live bookmarks in your browser, either safari or firefox. This means people can get updates in their browser without opening their email accounts. But live bookmaking in internet explorer is limited because it is not programmed to this kind of operation yet.
How to make Free RSS feeds?
There many ways how to make feeds, but the most free and simple is to make it with feedity.com. You can make some RSS feeds there via category or link. But I suggest making RSS feeds via category. Once you are finished doing your RSS feeds in there you can now promote your finds in various RSS directory sites. It is just a matter of time you’ll notice a huge traffic build up in your website.
